The new front ported B410 Neodymium features four custom AMERICAN made Eminence Deltalite ten inch bass speakers and a Foster Horn Tweeter. These custom designed Eminence Neodymium tens are made just for Avatar and have a Neodymium magnet for weight reduction, extended cone travel (Xmax) for improved low end and a lightweight die cast aluminum basket for extra rigidity (the custom deltalites we use have an Xmax of 5.2mm instead of the stock 3.9mm ...and a better looking standard dust cap). These Neo tens also have a lower frequency response than our previous B410 cab. The Foster high frequency compression horn tweeter is THE most popular tweeter used by some of the best companies in the business. The tweeter is filtered with a smooth sounding 6dB per octave slope mylar capacitor crossover and has an adjustable tweeter volume control on the back input panel.
The cab is constructed of high quality -inch voidless 13-ply Baltic Birch plywood with rabbet and dado interlocking sidejoints for extreme strength. The cabinet is covered in black carpet or new coloured tolex, has protective corners, large recessed steel bar handles, full face steel diamond pattern expanded metal grill, front slot port and steel input panel.
