NDC Dual coil guitar pickup:

This is an interesting take on the traditional guitar humbucker. It's basically two modified Strat®-style coils next to each other in a hum canceling configuration. These pickups use alnico V pole pieces for the complex interactive character that traditional Strat®-style pickups have. They have a lot of dynamic character with a well defined high frequency response that is very present, but not grating, with a truly full and astounding harmonic character. While they are not as dark and thick sounding as a traditional bar magnet slug and screw humbucker, they work exceptionally well aggressively fed into a tube amp for a bluesy slightly broken up lead tone. Nice for clean rhythm as well. They really excel at delivering cutting high gain distortion tones that drip with attitude! Available in wide or narrow spacing, standard or hot wind, neck or bridge.
