We have just received the two Nordstrand Nordy VJ5's! One in Trans White over ash with a blocked and bound maple board and the other in vintage Trans "Root Beer" over ash with a blocked and bound maple board. We will have pix on the site soon, if you are a J Bass guy these basses will completely freak you out I guarantee it.

We have a couple of REALLY cool Vintage 5 Nordy's on order. Nordy is a line of Jazz style basses from renowned luthier Carey Nordstrand. These feature the looks and vibe of vintage Jazz basses but with the playablilty and feel of Carey's custom bolt on basses. Info will be up on the Nordstrand page soon!

Avatar now has LineX heavy Duty Coating available on all bass cabs. This is an ultra durable spray coating that is virtually indestructable!! It has a black "pebble" like finish and can easily be wiped down to keep your cab looking new. This is often used on high end PA cabs for touring because of its extreme durability.
